| Short Profile | This talented all-round manager of FMCG obtained an MSc Biochemistry (University of Alexandria), which was followed by four years lecturing on the subject, before he joined Colgate-Palmolive in ’88 as R&D manager. He remained in the service of that company until 2017 when he began his own consultancy providing supply chain solutions for FMCG companies. At Colgate-Palmolive Egypt he evolved to Technical Manager and Production Manager, before moving on to Colgate-Palmolive Morocco and Tunisia from 2004 to 2011 where he was executive Director for supply chain management, then customer relations and then logistics. He prides himself on having restructured and optimised the manufacturing in Egypt, Morocco and Tunisia. After spending a year for the company in Saudi and the Gulf States, where he was responsible for manufacturing and supporting functions, he moved to South Africa where he was Director Manufacturing until 2017. |
